Clerkenwell Design Week 2025 - That's a Wrap!

It was another successful year for Bisley, as we unveiled our bold collaboration with RISOTTO Studio where together, we transformed two pieces within our Fern collection into stunning works of art. We were delighted to welcome RISOTTO’s founder, Gabriella Marcella who gave a talk entitled ‘Rules of Play’ presenting the history behind ‘Tetris’ - the pattern featured across our collaboration pieces, talked through the fascinating process of Riso printing, explaining its foundations and principles, and about the exciting, upcoming opening of her new studio in Glasgow - watch this space!

We were pleased to welcome new partners GreyFox and a selection of their wonderful products into the showroom. Designer Simon Dennehy, gave a thought-provoking talk ‘Design for Applied Human Movement’ discussing how research into intuitive human movement can transform design and how exploring human-centric design principles challenge traditional furniture thinking - a talk we were all sitting up straight in!

To close this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week, we hosted our legendary party on Thursday evening, where we welcomed hundreds of guests throughout the night, old friends and new. It was wonderful for us to showcase a new bolder Bisley and catch up with everyone and receive enthusiastic feedback on our new showroom design. The night flew by as we enjoyed an evening of classic British cuisine and live music.

Of course, we showcased a number of our beautiful furniture collections across both the home and corporate spaces. Arches was proudly displayed in the window, displaying the dynamic nature of the range across its flexible layout, as well as an evolved Outline configuration dubbed the Gazebo, offering a tranquil zone to work, while still giving that feeling of being a open in the office. We also expanded the display of our extensive locker offering, complete with demonstrations of our comprehensive BeSmart service.

In the Home Space, we focused on combining RISOTTO’s fun pattern with our brand-new, dark wood Rowan range, featuring a rich, deep walnut finish matching with the mid-century aesthetic perfectly. Further demonstrating our vast capabilities, the range stood proudly alongside our very first venture into dining, Cora, the beautiful Scandinavian-style dining table, stool and benches, and of course our popular steel home furniture collection, Fern.
